Men who want to look their best for their ladies or just want to look lean to fit in those designer clothes need to build the right physique.  Doing this would require them to build muscles the right way and know how muscles grow.

Different Types of Muscle Growth

One muscle growth type is called Sarcoplasmic Hypertrophy.  The growth here is mainly caused by the increase or growth of fluid or the Sarcoplasm within the muscle.   A distinctive characteristic of this type of muscle growth is that it is fast yet weak.  It is fast because it can increase the size of a muscle in a short period of time.  It is weak because it is mainly made up of fluid that does not contract, which leads to insignificant muscle strength.

The other type on the other hand is called Myofibrillar Hypertrophy.  This type is the exact opposite of Sarcoplasmic Hypertrophy in a way that this involves actual muscle fiber growth.  Since fiber is involved which have properties that can contract, muscles developed here are significantly stronger.

Muscle Growth Effects

When men focused mainly on trainings and exercises that promote sarcoplasmic growth, then he will look more like a fluffy stuffed muscle man than a gorgeous man with a hot body.  This is because the muscles here would look like dough and is quite rounded not like those perfect, sharp and angular looking muscles.

But if these men also focused more on myofibrillar trainings, then he will more or less look like a lean yet lanky high school student.  This is due to the fact that these kinds of training associated with myofibrillar growth produces hard, angular, yet undersized muscles.

The best thing to do here is to combine the kinds of trainings and exercise, which also would combine the two types of muscle growth.  By doing this, men can actually have the ideal look that most women want.
